Crafted with a 100% handwoven silk outer, cotton filling and wool lining, and featuring intricate floral quilting in a soft ivory shade, the Perle Coat brings a delicate sense of texture and dimension to an understated longline silhouette. Flowing botanical motifs, intertwining branches and curved floral patterns are traced across the surface through fine quilting stitches, creating a softly raised texture with subtle variations of light and shadow. Founder Julie Cole has nearly two decades of experience in the field of Indian fashion design, shuttling back and forth between India for her work. Rubia and Neel’s products are manufactured in India. In the Indian language, “Rubia” means red, and “Neel” means indigo, representing the brand’s foundational colours.
In addition to colours derived from natural Indian dyes and traditional techniques like Jamdani weaving, the brand also emphasises the creation of products with the warmth of hand-craftsmanship, including hand weaving and hand stitching. The simple yet warm designs and comfortable textures provide wearers with a gentle and relaxed experience.
