KAMARO’AN | Atomo Net Bag
Description
The Atomo Net Bag is inspired by traditional Pangcah water-carrying pottery, with a rounded, gourd-like shape. It holds small essentials like a purse or phone. The bag can be hand-carried or worn crossbody with a linen strap, which can be removed to use it as a small storage basket.
Pangcah pottery is simple and undecorated, often featuring rattan handles or rings for carrying. The rounded shape serves practical uses, such as carrying water or steaming.
*Includes a naturally dyed strap and inner bag, and can be used alone as a drawstring crossbody bag.
Straw Braid
In the Archetype collection, Kamaro’an collaborated with a Taiwan hat factory with an 80-year-old history. We use the old hat sewing technique for bag making.
The hat factory has a unique technique to web infinite-length straw braid and has a wealth of sewing legacy. We also developed a special sewing method and coating to make the bag strong and durable.
Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather
Vegetable-tanned cowhide has a smooth finish while retaining the natural full grain with a unique aspect and touch.
Over time, the leather tanned by vegetables will nourish and evolve, developing a patina.
