Kopid Lid Bag

Kamaro'an
€475 EUR

“Kopid” is a vintage portable basket from the pangcah tribes. It is used to carry rice or tools.

The structure of the lid bag is the purest form of carrying objects in an era when there were no buttons or hardware parts.

The Lid Bag is a nod to the old kopid baskets. It is a two-way bag and sized for daily needs.

Includes a natural-dyed strap and inner bag, it can be paired with a straw bag or straw hat, or can be used independently as a drawstring cross-body bag.

This is a special limited edition. The natural-dyed straps and inner bags will come to an end when they are sold out; they are made in small quantities, we enjoy doing something special every season.

Kamaro'an

Inspired by Taiwanese indigenous culture, Kamaro’an explores pure craftsmanship through clean design.

The name Kamaro’an originates from pangcah, it means “the place to live”. Pangcah is one of an indigenous ethnic in Taiwan.

Each of their products is handwoven in our studio by indigenous craftsman.

Kamaro’an appreciate the handcrafts of everyday objects that reflect pangcah’s way of living in harmony with nature. The designer duo is obsessed with the non-fancy but practical weaving technique that accomplishes daily needs.

Kamaro’an celebrates the uniqueness, timelessness and precision that hands can bring to life.
