The Sailor Wool Knit Top from Japanese brand Quitan draws inspiration from the linen sailor shirts issued to the British Navy around 1915.
Crafted from a blend of Australian wool — sourced from sheep between lamb and mature stages, combining the softness and sheen of lamb’s wool with the resilience of Merino — and fine Merino wool from Tasmania’s Goulburn region.

The fabric undergoes a fulling process, resulting in a rich, tactile surface with a felt-like density that traps air for lightweight warmth and insulation. Designed with a signature sailor collar and relaxed fit, it reflects Quitan’s poetic reinterpretation of vintage military garments.
