BUBUN | Solo Continuum Earrings

Thin glass cut from 2mm thick plate glass, then woven into a rectangle shape. The K18YG bar on the top enhances the delicate look of the glass.

The stick-shaped glass that form the earrings is cut out by hand one by one from highly transparent sheet glass. From there, the process of cutting, polishing, and firing is repeated to create a finish with a slightly fluctuating expression, but by leaving a slight nuance of the original sheet glass to the end, it creates a dignified appearance.

The glass itself is usually considered a fragile material, but the weaving makes it stronger and suitable for everyday wear.
